Use The Half Kneeling Shield Cast Front Press For A Better Core & Hips
Sep 23, 2024When learning heavy club training, we always start standing on two feet. This is important because we want our feet, legs, hips, shoulders and spine all working together to properly move the club.
Once we learn how to swing clubs correctly, we can then change our base of support to help for different reasons.
When we drop to kneeling we remove our ankles and legs from the equation, which puts more emphasize on the spine and hips.
This can help to strengthen and mobilize these areas even more.
When you assume a half kneeling position, or one knee up and one knee down, we can isolate a single hip and improve how each hip functions individually.
Today, Mark shows the Half Kneeling Shield Cast Front Press, which will challenge your rotational strength, hip mobility, and core strength.
This is an excellent move for any human, but certainly any kind of tactical athlete like a grappler, service man, or operator.
Learn it in today's video.
